Together Strengthening
Our Community Seniors
TSOCS (501c3)
Our Purpose
To help our senior communities embrace the aging process.

Enhancing Quality of Life:
Improving the physical, emotional, and social well-being of seniors. Conducting social events, workshops and public speaking conferences that benefits our seniors mental health. Bringing together diverse communities of seniors from different regions to share life experiences and cultural differences. While cultivating a safe place to combat the stages of depression and loneliness caused often by the neglect of this growing population, recently escalated by the 2020 pandemic.

Providing Access to Essential Services
TSOCS partnership with those in the nearby community who provide healthcare, housing, nutrition and transportation for the disabled elderly. Helping seniors maintain their independence through these support resources.

Combating Isolation
Creating programs and opportunities for social engagement, community involvement and mental health awareness.

Advocating for Seniors’ Rights
Ensuring seniors are treated with dignity, respect and their needs and voices are heard. We currently have a informative relationship with Hawaii’s National Center on Law & Elder Rights. Which keeps TSOCS updated via email and newsletters concerning the latest news on seniors issues and legal rights across the nation.
Providing lifelong learning skills development programs and celebratory support for those who care directly for elderly individuals within their respective communities.
Overseas Community Initiatives

TSOCS Mentorship Nonprofit
We know that it’s said that is takes a village and the bible states that “two are better than one and gets more for their efforts”. Therefore TSOCS value our collaboration with our civic leaders who understand this principle very well. We have worked with local and national politicians, polices, churches and other community entities to make the impact necessary for change.
On the island of Oahu we worked with then 2009 Mayor, Mufi Hannemann and Portsmouth, Virginia Mayor Holly, to host our first cultural mentorship event. Bringing at risk youth from Virginia to Hawaii for an experience they would never forget. In doing so we later received a “Spirit of Aloha Award” from the Lt. Governor. Duke Aiona.
The collaboration continue with the following Portsmouth, Virginia Mayor, Kenny Wright and Austin Texas’ senator Royce West and representative Marc Veasey displayed in the pictures below.
